The family of Badan Perhubungan dan Kesejahteraan Mahasiswa/i Akademi Pengajian Brunei (BPKMAPB) was deeply saddened upon the death of our friend’s father and has initiated a memorial in the remembrance of the deceased. The event was held on Saturday, 3rd of December 2016 at the Room 21B, Akademi Pengajian Brunei, which started at 9 am in the morning in the remembrance of the late Awang Haji Abd Hamid, a father to one of the student body members’ (BPKMAPB), Awang Muhammad Rahim bin Haji Abd Hamid who had passed away on the 26th November 2016.
In the attendance was the Director of Academy of Brunei Studies, Dr Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah. Also present were lecturers, academic staffs and student body members of Academy of Brunei Studies (BPKMAPB).
The event started with the mass recital of tahlil led by Awang Mohd Zhafiran Ashyraf bin Haji Abd Manap, representing for BPKMAPB in the event. Next, the event witnessed the presenting of donations to the student concerned by Dr Siti Norkhalbi Haji Wahsalfelah, the Director of Academy of Brunei Studies and Awang Abdul Rahman bin Murni, as the representatives for the academic staffs and BPKMAPB respectively.
