Dr Haji Tassim bin Hj Abu Bakar
BA (UBD), MA (Universiti Malaya), PhD (Universiti Malaya)
Dr Haji Tassim served as Deputy Dean of Student Affairs from 2004 to 2005 and appointed Programme Leader (undergraduate) at the Academy of Brunei Studies in 2012. Over the years, he has played an active educational and academic role in the Melayu Islam Beraja philosophy. He was the course coordinator of the Malay Islamic Monarchy module from 1995 to 1998 and again from 2000 to 2005. In 2000 to 2001, he was a committee member for the Malay Islamic Monarchy secondary 1, 2, and 3 level textbooks produced by the department of curriculum at the Ministry of Education. In 2012-2013, Dr Haji Tassim was again appointed as a committee member for the Malay Islamic Monarchy textbooks for years 9, 10 and 11. From 1994 until 1998, he was a seconded education officer in the coordination and assistance of the Sekretariat Majlis Tertinggi Kebangsaan Melayu Islam Beraja (MTKMIB) and again from 2000 to 2001.
